What a great time was had by all on Saturday, April 14th packing 100 newborn baby bags for Morristown Medical's NICU. Board members and volunteers set up several stations then the real work began when 50 people came to pack bags full of supplies full of diapers, wipes, lotions, ointments, rattles, baby spoons, first aid kits, Lauren onezies, bibs, "Concert for Lauren" CDs, and absolutely precious hand-knit baby beanies!
Each one of the bags that was packed with love will be delivered to the Morristown Medical Center's NeoNatal Care Unit's social workers for distribution to families in need of supplies when bringing home a newborn in 15 bag increments. Thanks again to everyone who made this day a success! Lauren was certainly smiling down on us as we honored the work she did in the NICU.
